The Irish brewing giant has had many advertising successes down the year but this is one everyone knows.
But the slogan itself probably won't have taken off so much without the brilliant toucan.
John M Gilroy drew the toucan. Gilroy created all the best known, and best loved, Guinness characters.
Gilroy created his most iconic Guinness characters such as the toucan from the 1930s through to the 1960s. When anyone thinks of Guinness advertising it's Gilroy's animals and quirky drawings that spring to mind.
